After 5 years in this state we finally took a short afternoon trip to Prescott. We took my dad to Camp Verde then Prescott to try and convince him to get out of Commifornia. After our stop in Camp Verde, then lunch, it was already 3 by the time we got to the lake. My dad taught the kids how to skip rocks, we got muddy shoes, then took off to see downtown.
We thought Prescott was a pretty cool city but we only got a couple hours there. So we took another trip there recently to do a little more exploring.
