Every year Natalie and I take a trip for our anniversary. This year she was extremely pregnant so our options were limited. We had to be in Riverside for Thanksgiving so we took an overnight trip to the Queen Mary.
Compared to our other trips this one was kinda meh. The room wasn't all that great, the bed sucked, food options were limited. We couldn't do the good tour because Natalie couldn't handle all the stairs. The tour we did get to do was pretty entertaining though. I wished I would have recorded how animated our tour guide was. Changing between talking soft and loud, fast and slow, and at times getting a squeaky voice. I wondered if this was in his training or if he did this voluntarily.
Other than that we pretty much just sat around. Natalie got to watch me drink a couple cocktails with a jealous look on her face while she enjoyed a salad. Although it wasn't all that exciting it was good to get a break from the terrorist, I mean kids, for a day. There's always next year, well this year since I'm writing it 4 months later, to plan a trip with a little more excitement.
