Knott's Berry Farm

Lately we've been spending a lot of time in SoCal. The day after New Years we were suppose to be driving back to Arizona early in the morning. My twin sister had plans to go to Knott's Berry Farm that day. Season passes are only $65 so she kept trying to talk me into it. Of course at this time we still hadn't had our house in Florida rented out so we decided we should skip Knott's and just go home.

Well that morning I got a phone call from my realtor and he found someone that was ready to sign a lease on our house. This ended up falling through a couple days later but at the time we thought it was all taken care of so we decided last minute to go to Knotts and get the season passes. My sister was pretty excited when I called her up that morning asking if she had already left.Since then we have already been three times this year. Not bad considering we live 380 miles away.

Adriana loves Knott's Berry Farm. She shows a lot more excitement here than she did at Disney World. Our first trip in January she went on all the rides with no problems. She even went on the log ride with me. She was scared on the drop but she wanted to go again as soon as it ended. I was really surprised that I even got her to go on the roller coaster in Camp Snoopy and she was laughing the whole time.

When we went back a couple weeks later and she was screaming bloody murder on the mine train ride even though she liked it two weeks earlier. She also didn't have a problem with it a year ago when we went but for some reason this time the dark was really upsetting her. When I took her over the air balloon ride she got all excited and started talking about bad people taking the diamond dolls away from the Chipmunks. She has related that ride to the Chipmunk Adventure Movie and keeps repeating the story.

Our third trip was last week and she did not want to go on the mine train and started crying. However she didn't have choice. To my surprise she actually didn't scream. She sat there with her Uncle Jeff and enjoyed the ride. They have a miniature version of Supreme Scream in Camp Snoopy. We decided to put her on that ride and I thought for sure she would be scared. She ended up laughing the whole time.

Hopefully we'll get to go a few more times this year. The log ride has been closed the last two times and it's been to cold to go on Bigfoot Rapids.

This was one of my favorites when I was a kid (yes it's been there a long time). Adri seemed to like it too.

I bought Adri this cap gun. She loves playing cops and robbers with me.

On the balloon ride.

Adriana was afraid of Snoopy. Even worse with Peppermint Patty.
