If you read my last post you know that recently the world was turned upside down over a virus. It's getting awfully stupid out here. Stupidity on levels we have never seen before over a virus. Before this virus because big news though we had another virus, the Flu, disrupting our plans. Now people are suggesting maybe it wasn't the flu, but Covid19 that went undetected in the area. We'll probably never know. In this case though it was the actual virus and not people's ridiculous reactions due to fear that caused the problem.
We had Zach's birthday party planned for the day after his birthday this year. Family was ready to come out from California and everything. A week before his party Zach got strep. Natalie took him to urgent care and two days later she got the flu. No, this was not self diagnostic. She tested positive for Flu A. I think it was the next day Adri and Dean both got strep but Dean tested negative for Flu. So far I am the last holdout and having to help out a lot around the house while working two jobs and trying to finish up my BS in Cybersecurity. Dean was better by Wednesday but sick again Thursday and this time he tested positive for Flu. Zach's party was cancelled. It was the week from hell with Natalie being sick an entire week. Finally 8 or 9 days later everyone was better. I am the only one that didn't catch anything.
The next week we had Zach's party. Family was able to make it out but it happened to rain all morning. The rain stopped right after cutting the cake and the kids got to spend a few minutes outside.
Dean and Bear taking a nap.
Dean's life is putting stuff in the mixer. Gotta mix up those goldfish. My crazy kids dancing to Rammstein.
I think this was a week or two before all the sickness.
I didn't know he had this scared look on his face til I saw the picture. I don't know what he is so scared of.
Putting the kid to work.
Dean feeding Ducky.
Zach's birthday cake, on his actual birthday.
Dean, like all my kids, gets the amoxicillin rash. I think this was 7 days into his medication so we had to discontinue.
Zach's birthday party.
Aunt Cis got Zach a car that can drive on water.
After Zach's birthday party we went to Sabas for dinner. Here is Dean with Grandpa.
Anthem Park.
Dean loves going around the yard smelling the flowers.
Daddy-Daughter dance 2020.
Taking a mid-day walk with Dean.
I made the kids Shirley Temples. I didn't want dean having so much sugar so I gave him the mini copper mug.
The kids decided they wanted to take a swim when the pool was 48 degrees and air temperature was 74. Adri got chest deep and Zach went to his shoulders. That's when I said hold my beer and did a cannonball.
Teaching Adri how to shoot.
