Easter Weekend

This year for Easter we had some visitors. My niece came down with her family and my friend Paul that I have known since I was 17 came out from Riverside for a visit and to blow some crap up in the desert.

We spent most of the day Friday breaking apart my AK-47. It has been jamming since I bought it 15 years ago. I've never had a problem with an AK and this shouldn't be happening. I think it's all the grease they packed in this thing before shipping it overseas. Well when I broke it down I found not one, but two bullets, well a full bullet and a casing, inside. It looks like the bullet got hit by the firing pin too right at the neck, it could have been ugly.

The problem is I didn't take the gas chamber off. I should have. When we did go shooting we got about five rounds through the gun before it started jamming again. So now back to another round of breaking it apart and cleaning it.

Paul has been a black belt and martial arts instructor for a couple decades. He brought out the pads and gloves and taught Zach how to do a little fighting.

My kids can't dress normal to go shooting. I called Adri Che and Zach Trujillo.
