A couple weeks ago Adri had a Daddy Daughter dance at her school. So for dinner we had a date night and went to Tru Burger, without Natalie and Zachy Zach. All her friends were there but we didn't rsvp and the place was packed so we didn't get to sit on the patio with them. However when we arrived I got to see how popular Adri is at school. I heard a bunch of girls scream for Adri and they came running out to greet her.
The dance was 2 hours long and started at 7PM. I really don't know why it was so late for kids so young; I think it would have been better if it started around 5. Adri grabs some snacks, talked to her friends, and hit the craft table. The Dominican in her was hiding that night and she hardly did any dancing. I kept trying to get her to go out and dance with her friends but she wasn't having it. I did finally get to dance with her near the end of the dance. She really liked being thrown up in the air and spun in circles.
At dinner. For some reason this place didn't have shakes yet. They said they are getting them in another week. So I asked for their beer menu to see if there is anything local that is good. I'm not a big beer person but I have found a couple local beers or premium beers I like. So the waitress brought me out a couple shots to taste. She said the orange blossom is alright. Ha, if she only knew. I ordered the orange blossom and it's one of the best beers ever. So good when I mentioned it at work my boss put his fist in the air and said it's the best beer ever. It took them 3 times to get my burger right. The first time it had mustard, then mayo, the third time it was right and free. Score for me. The burgers there are over 10 bucks.
